ABOUT ME

My name is Ryley DeMaro and I am a recent graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I created this portfolio website to showcase my work that I have created for work, school and personal. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Public Relations and Sports Media and Communications with a minor in Business. At my time at Nebraska, I interned for the UNL Athletic Department, helping them run the athletic social medias and created online and print branding and marketing pieces. One of my main roles with this internship was running the Husker Women's Basketball and Softball Twitter and Instagram and live tweeting the results of each game. I also helped out with the football team, controlling the big screen and ribbon board updates.

I recently received an FAA Drone Pilot License and have been making advertising content for companies and creating personal videos for my portfolio. â€‹

In high school, I was in Sports Information Directory and played basketball and lacrosse at Olathe Northwest and was a part of Raven Flight Corporations, National Honor Society, Senior Committee, and Raven Service Club. Growing up I have always had a passion for sports and knew I wanted to have a career in the sporting field. Over my high school career, I attended many sporting events making highlight videos, athlete documentaries, and preseason perspectives. Along with those, I also made a regular comic series called "Word From The Halls" and a couple hype videos. One of my most successful moments in my video careers is that my film work was featured on the news when I videotapped Reagan Hathaway's Kansas state record home run. This video was featured on the local KC new station and got over 300 views on my Youtube channel.
